ABOUT THE LABEL
Founded in 2014 by president and executive producer Bill Freas, Crazy Owl Entertainment is a Philadelphia-based music label and sister company to Crazy Owl Films, a film and television production company. The label composes and produces music of varying genres, for general distribution and for licensing in all media formats, including film/TV scores and soundtracks. Aside from media placements, the label also writes and produces for independent artists and artists signed to other labels.
ABOUT THE PRESIDENT
An accomplished Philadelphia-based composer, arranger, producer, and performer, Bill Freas (ASCAP) has contributed his musical talents to numerous projects and artists, live and in the studio, across many genres since the mid-1990s. Along with garnering several prestigious music awards and titles, Bill studied intensive music theory and composition under esteemed, world-class composer/conductor David Osbon at West Chester University in eastern Pennsylvania. His musical work for film and television runs perfectly parallel to his work as a writer, producer, actor, and director in those same mediums. Alongside his busy music-production company, Crazy Owl Entertainment, Bill also owns and operates its prosperous sister company, Crazy Owl Films, a film/TV production firm.

The Philadelphia-based musician's inspiring album, YELLOWSTONE LAKE, blends neo-classical sounds and forms with the experimental textures and avant-garde stylings of the ever-evolving ambient genre, creating a unique and melodic New Age crossover collection.
Produced to aid listeners in relaxing the mind and obtaining a deeper peace during these difficult times, YELLOWSTONE LAKE takes an eclectic musical journey through the serene, majestic, and transcendent Wyoming mountain locale. To assist in this sonic feat, Freas enlisted his top-tier collective of Philadelphia, Nashville, and UK musicians (A studio ensemble known as the Cottage City Symphony Orchestra). meditative EP, WATERWORKS showcases the poignant mysteries of the rain, on
"Shadows in the Rain"; the glorious majesty of the ocean, on "Pacific Hymn";
and the spiritual transcendence of flowing waterways, on "Sacred Stream." Featured

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - November 2022 - Bill Freas releases a special holiday single that honors the American autumnal feast holiday of Thanksgiving. This New Age/neo-classical recording, fittingly titled THANKSGIVING, features members of the Cottage City Symphony Orchestra to create a peaceful, relaxing, and thoughtful musical tribute to the cozy holiday of breaking bread, with family and friends.
